[edit] Abstract
The Nordic success model of globalization is unique. When most of small countries in the world have suffered from their openness, the Nordic countries are in the top of the list of wellbeing, e.g. in terms of GNI per capita. The “Viking” recipe of success has been learning-by-doing, innovativeness and scale economies. The book reflects a man of action that we “Vikings” are. Winning in global business has not so much to do with big strategies. What is more important is to focus on customers and their real needs as many Nordic companies have successfully done. Being earlier fearful we “Vikings” now manage the humble management.
